2. Structure elucidation

Our expertise comprises structure elucidation of AGPs and other plant polysaccharides by different methods:

  • Determination of molecular weight by GPC und LLS-detection
  • Structure elucidation of polysaccharides by e.g. partial hydrolyses, acetylation and methylation analyses, GLC with FID and MS detection, NMR)
  • Determination of amino acid composition of AGPs
  • Photometric quantification of  hydroxyproline
  • Elucidation of structure-activity relationships in combination with immunomoduling activities (see below)
